The Necessity of Rest

Rest is necessary part of movement.
Regression is a necessary part of progress.

Every atom, every muscle and sinew, every season, even the tides of the ocean, they are not always on. They are relentless because of their cadence. The cadence is Flow.

Rest is not in the way.

Regression is not Failure.

Our current limits are not our permanent limitations. We don’t regress past our last level of integration. Like a save-game checkpoint.

Rest.

Allow yourself to be less than your best.

We don’t live at our peak all the time, we ebb and flow in a cadence, when the pendulum is swinging back to wind up, let it, and ride the return, on your own terms.

No heroics. Just steadiness and timing.

You’ve got this.

Every wave we ride, becomes a wave we make. Every regression we ride out with patience, sets us up for an acceleration forward that we can stabilise and integrate by our own stillness.

This can be learned. This can be practiced.
