Learning that changing your story and stance can do wonders.

Enough time had passed, for me to stop punishing myself. I can’t go back in time and not do some of the things I’ve done, but when I know better I do better.
Rocco has been a friend, a coach, a mentor and guiding light for me. I am lucky enough to have spent time with him in a casual setting, a ceremonial setting, one on one setting and also in the Mojo Dojo. At every turn he seems to know what to say and how to say it. Through the Mojo Dojo I’m learning the tools to help me deal with past trauma, understand the way I see the world is tainted from past experiences and so-called truths I’ve learned as a child.
If you’re ready to be honest with yourself and ready to take a step towards being a happier person, then this is your group. It won’t be easy and it might not be pretty, but it will be worth it. Just like Jiu Jitsu, you learn slowly and some techniques come more naturally than others, but if you keep showing up at some point you will be much better than the person who started.
See you on the mat!
